Dairy
Němcova selská mlékárna Radonice processes eight thousand litres of milk a day into cheeses and farmhouse yoghurts.

The dairy and its history
In 1994 the business was extended by a farmhouse dairy, where dairy products are made by traditional methods with an emphasis on the highest possible quality.
The dairy processes some 8,000 litres of milk a day. Its main products are Balkan and fresh cheeses, grilling cheeses, grated and pasta filata cheeses and farmhouse yoghurts. Turnover runs at around CZK 100 million a year.

Modernisation and certification
In 2017 the dairy was substantially modernised and its production capacity increased. Following the modernisation the FSSC 22000 system was introduced and certified, extending the HACCP already in place. Between 2021 and 2026 the dairy held the BRC Food certificate, replaced in 2026 by IFS Food, whose requirements the plant meets to this day.
As a supplier of the private-label Balkan cheese for the Tesco chain in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, the dairy also meets TFMS standards. It now produces around 40 tonnes of Balkan cheese a month.
The dairy underwent further technological modernisation in 2024, chiefly of the equipment for pasta filata and grilling cheeses.
Between 2025 and 2026 the dairy substantially modernised the technology for grated cheeses and farmhouse yoghurts, which it makes under the Pilos brand for Lidl in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary.
